Food

The SCPA will be operating a fully functioning Concession Stand during all hours of the tournament. Following are some of the items we will be offering for sale:

• Basic concessions including soft drinks, water, sports drinks, energy bars, candy, chips, etc.
• A limited supply of pastries, fruit, coffee and hot chocolate during early morning hours.
• Hot dogs, hamburgers and wraps during lunch hours.
• While visiting our Concession Stand please consider purchasing raffle tickets for a chance to win one of our great prizes.

Cancellation Policy

Withdrawals: Withdrawal from the tournament must be made by October 2, 2020. If you have not registered, signed the online waiver, and paid by October 2^nd, your name will be removed from the player list.

Inclement Weather: The Spalding County Pickleball Complex is an outdoor facility, so it is possible that inclement weather may interfere with the tournament schedule. If adverse weather conditions persist, some or all events may have to be re-scheduled or cancelled.

The Tournament organizers pledge to make every reasonable effort to ensure that the tournament is completed in its entirety.

Refunds: Refunds will be given only if the registrant withdraws prior to the October 2^nd deadline. Withdrawals after that date will not result in a refund.

Refunds will not be given if any or all tournament events must be cancelled due to inclement weather, unsafe playing conditions, or due to any other issue beyond the control of the Spalding County Pickleball Association.

Wyomia Tyus Olympic Park is located in Spalding County, Georgia, approximately 35 miles south of the Atlanta airport. The address is:

Cowan road parallels US Highway 19/41, and the park is between Vineyard Rd and West McIntosh Rd (GA Hwy 92) in Griffin.

Format

This will be a Round Robin Tournament for all matches, both singles and doubles. Each player/team will play each other player/team in their bracket.

Brackets larger than eight teams will be broken into Pools, with the Pool winners competing for medals. Some skill/age groups may be combined to ensure adequate, meaningful competition for all participants. Smaller brackets may play a double round robin.

Medals will be awarded as follows to the 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd place finishers in each skill/age group:

• Winners: will be determined by the number of games won within their bracket.
• First tiebreaker: head-to-head wins.
• Second tiebreaker: total point differential of all games played.
• Third tiebreaker: head-to-head point differential.
• Fourth tiebreaker: point differential against the next highest player/team.

NOTE the following:

• If two or more skill/age groups comprise a bracket, medals will be awarded to players/teams in each group. In those cases, winners will be determined within their specific group in accordance with the above criteria.
• SSIPA members will be eligible for Circuit Points and/or Prizes.
