Directions
Driving to Denver from the west, you’ll likely be taking one of the four major interstate highways, I-90 or I-80 from up north, I-70 from the SoCal and Las Vegas routes, or I-40 coming in from the south through Albuquerque and Santa Fe. The driving distances listed below will give you a good general idea of how long you’ll be on the road. We’d done several of the routes and they’re pretty realistic. If I-70 ends up being your route, it brings you through the spectacular Glenwood Canyon, and over Vail and Loveland Passes. Unlike Independence Pass coming out of Aspen, neither of these are nail-bitting experiences, highway all the way. You’ll also pass by a few of Colorado’s famous ski resorts, Vail and Copper Mountain, and Loveland.
If you’re driving from one of the further locations shown, don’t push it. Spending a night in a hotel is way better than in a hospital. Be safe and enjoy your trip, there’ s some pretty sweet Colorado scenery to take in. The courts will be there when you arrive.
If you’re flying into Denver International Airport (DIA), it’s about a 35 minute UBER ride to the Gates Tennis Center and most of the featured hotels. A few of our hotel parters are within walking distance of the courts. Check out all of our hotel partners using the Accommodations button on PT. You’ll see the distances, rates, amenities, and other information on the link. Please don’t forget to use the hotel links provided to receive the discounted room rates.
When you get to Denver and your hotel, chill, stroll around the very cool Cherry Creek community, with its Mall, shops, boutiques, and restaurants, or head to the Gates courts. All of our hotel partners are within close proximity to the Gates courts, so it’s only a short hop to seeing the nets, the pros, your competition, and friends. You’re in for a great time and we look forward to welcoming you!

Format
2021 ROCKY MOUNTAIN CHAMPIONSHIPS MATCH FORMAT
Double elimination. Upper bracket is best of 3 games; Lower/consolation bracket matches will be one game to 15, win by 2. All medal rounds will be best of 3 games. If consolation team wins best of 3 games in the Gold medal round, an additional game to 15, win by 2 will decide the Gold and Silver winners.
If there are fewer than five (5) teams in a bracket, the tournament may elect to use a round robin format, which will include each team playing the other in a single game to 21, win by 2. There will not be a medal round in the round robin format. Determination of the winning teams will be based upon overall win/loss record, then head to head results, followed by total points. If there are three teams or less, the tournament may elect to combine or cancel a bracket.
