Log In or Sign UpWelcome to the 2022 Pacific Northwest Classic by Beaver Coach Sales! We are excited to be holding our 11th annual summer tournament in one of the most beautiful and unique places in the world. To borrow a line from from our friends at Visit Bend: “Here, amazement is something you fall into, and it’s waiting eagerly for anyone who’s willing to make the trip to seize it. It’s a place packed with possibility.” But if you live here or have been here, you already know that. If this is your first time, be prepared to be amazed. We also put on great pickleball tournaments, and we are happy to have you join us!
The following is some important information to guide you in the registration process. Please read carefully and let us know if you have questions or concerns.
REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Early Registration, Late Registration:
Early Registration fee applies only to registrations paid for by the Early Registration date. Unpaid reservations after the due date will be converted to the regular Registration fee. Late Registration applies to all registrations created or paid for after May 31.
Registration:
A registration is not complete until the Registration fee and event fees are paid-in-full. In doubles events, a place is not secure until both players have completed registration.
It is essential that doubles event players work quickly to find and have registered a partner.
An event fee for a doubles event is not charged to an individual registration until the registrant has added a partner and is in the event. At that time event fees are due immediately. It is up to each player to know when a partner is added and additional payment is due.
A paid registration will hold a individual player's place in a bracket until either:
-
The player adds a partner, if the bracket is not full.
-
The bracket fills with paid teams (both partners have paid registration.)
-
The maximum number of Teams/Day is reached, approximately 126 teams.
Wait Lists:
Players may be removed to a Wait List at any time if the event fills with completely registered teams or the maximum number of teams for the day is reached.
A registered/paid Player Needing Partner in any doubles event may be moved to a Wait List if a completely registered team is on the Wait List for the same event.
Wait List Priorities:
- Space available in skill/age group
- Tournament Sponsors
- Players with partners, doubles events
- Registration/s complete and paid
- Players already in other event/s
- Earliest paid registration
Open Events/Brackets:
Only UTPR 4.5+ players may initiate registration in Open events. A registered 4.5+ player may add a lower rated player with the assistance of the Tournament Director. Players with UTPR of less than 4.5 may register on the Open Wait List to be added to the Open event if the event does not fill with 4.5+ players. Players on the Open Wait List may be moved to the Open event by higher UTPR or first registration at the discretion of the Tournament Director.
Tee Shirts and Cutoff Date:
Our supplier requires that we order shirts well in advance of the tournament start to insure they have time to order and print shirts. We make a SWAG at how many more we will need but we rarely hit the mark. Players who register after tee shirt cut off date (May 15, 2022) may receive a tee shirt in their desired size subject to availability. There will be no discounts or refunds if a tee shirt is not available.
Need Partner List, and players seeking partners:
Players who register without a partner are automatically entered on the Players Needing Partners list. This list is available from a button link on the main tournament listing page. Players must contact other players using the email link from the individual need partner listings. WE DO NOT CONNECT PLAYERS. It is up to the player to make contact and players who are contacted should have the courtesy to respond. Check your spam folder frequently for misdirected emails.
Players replacing a partner:
Any registered player replacing a partner for any reason must replace that partner with a partner qualified to play in the same skill/age group scheduled to play. New partners can play down in age and up in skill. Bracket changes may be allowed depending on space in a new bracket and whether the schedule has been posted. No bracket changes will be allowed within 14 days of the tournament start date. Replacements need to be known and communicated to kfoster@bendpickleballclub.com by 6pm the day before the bracket is scheduled to play. Replacements can be found on the Players Needing Partners list.
Any replacement must:
- have a current USAPickleball membership valid through the last day of the tournament.
- be registered for the tournament in pickleballtournaments.com with fees paid.
- have signed the waiver.
Open Event Purse:
BEND SUSTAINABLITY FUND (BSF): We have partnered with Bend Sustainability Fund to invest in projects that protect, steward, and create sustainable recreational resources and outdoor experiences in Bend's backyard. A portion of each player registration is donated to the BSF.
Additional donations are welcome, voluntary, and very much appreciated. Registrants will have an opportunity to make a donation during the registration process.
