COVID POLICY:

A proof of vaccination is required to be in your possession onsite for the tournament venue at all times. The tournament will follow city, county, state and federal COVID guidelines.  

Cancellations/Withdrawls

IF A PLAYER WITHDRAWS BEFORE JULY 24, 2022 THE PLAYER(S) WILL BE CHARGED A $10.00 WITHDRAW AND CANCELLATION FEE AND RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY TRANSACTION FEE(S). 

ANY TRANSACTIONS FEES INCURRED BY THE TOURNAMENT FROM YOUR REGISTRATION ARE NOT REFUNDABLE AT ANY TIME. 

IF A PLAYER WITHDRAWS AFTER JULY 24, 2022 11:59pm. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN FOR ANY REASON.

Plan ahead. Have your partner selected as soon as possible. Make your hotel reservation immediately. 

VERY IMPORTANT: If you or your partner are traveling from out of state, please, register by paying in full right away.

If one playing partner has paid in full and has signed an online waiver, that individual is registered. However, the playing "team" is not registered. One paid player does not secure your team a spot to be entered into the tournament. Your "team" (both playing partners) must completed the online waiver and pay in full to be entered into the playing division. 

We are not accepting payments on the day of the tournament. All payments must be made prior to the start of the tournament.

EACH PLAYING DIVISION WILL HAVE A 12 TEAM MAXIMUM.

FIRST FULLY PAID 12 TEAMS HAVE PRIORITY.

Format Changes

The TD reserves the right to close registration early, combine events, arrange / adjust brackets based on participation.

Photography/Recordings

A picture of you or a recording of you may take place while particpating, watching, referering at this tournament and posted on public Media at anytime. By participating in this tournament you are agreeing (implied consent) to give the Tournament Director, volunteers, and partners to use photo's of you for public media purposes. If you do not want photo's posted on public media or pictures taken of you, please, notifiy the Tournament Director ahead of time, or just as soon as possible and we will do the best we can to prohibit photo's from being posted.

Ratings

It is the player’s responsibility to double check your current Official USAP skill rating status online (www.usapa.org) to make sure you are registered for the correct skill level for this specific skills tournament. Your current and Official USAP rating will be applied. Players are not allowed to play down into a lower division however, a player may play up into a higher division.

Inclement Weather

Tournament Volunteer Committee will determine the weather conditions to determine if play shall continue.

Format

SKILLS DOUBLE ELIMINATION FORMAT 

Winners Bracket is 2/3 to 11, win by 2

Survival Bracket is 1-15 win by 2

Bronze Medal Matches are 2/3 to 11 win by 2

Silver/Gold Medal Matches: 2/3 to 11 win by 2. If survival bracket wins 2/3 to 11, then a 1 to 15 win by 2 tie breaker game will be played to determine winner.

JUNIOR FORMAT: (Minimum 2)

Play a Round Robin Format , 1 to 15, win by 2.

Each team will play against one another.

The winner is verified by matches won.

ROUND ROBIN BRACKETS: (Less than 6 teams)

Less than 6 teams will play a round robin format 2 out of 3 to 11, win by 2

Each team will play against one another.

Tie Breaker(s):

1st Tiebreaker: Play head to head and count matches won 

2nd Tiebreaker: Count point differential of all combined games.

3rd Tiebreaker: Then head tto head point differential

4th Tiebreaker: Then point differential against the team that has the next most point earned.

For a 2nd place tie, count point differential against the gold medal team or top winner.

Tournament Director reserves the right to combine events and change format based on entries.

The tournament will be played as a skills double elimination tournament. Winners bracket matches will be 2/3 to 11. Loser bracket matches will be 1/1 to 15 win by 2.

IMPORTANT: PLEASE CHECK YOUR DAILY SCHEDULE ON PICKLEBALL TOURNAMENTS.COM ONLINE EACH DAY TO SEE WHEN YOUR SPECIFIC SCHEDULED MATCH START TIMES ARE TO BEGIN.

Players may be called to play as early as 30 minutes prior to their scheduled start time. Once a match is called a players will have 10 minutes to begin play. That includes warm up.

• USAP Rules Apply – USAP approved paddles required
• Must sign up with a partner
• Entry order determined by the online registration and payment date of the last partner of the team to register and pay.
• Teams must play at the skill level of the highest rated partner
• USAP Rated players may not play below their USAP skill rating
• Participants may play in only one skill bracket per event
