Thursday June 23, 2022 - “Welcome to the Lake Barbecue” Hosted by Christina Lake Firefighters Society. This worthy cause helps support our local volunteer fire department and gives you the opportunity to meet participants and socialize the night before Hook Line and Dinker starts. Burgers and salad are by donation and will be offered from 5 - 8 p.m. Join us at the pickleball courts for a little food and fun before competition starts!
The Christina Lake Rotary Club will be hosting a “Pancake Breakfast” each day of the tournament from 7:30 to 10 am. Rumour has it they give you super powers on the court. Don’t miss out :)
Food Truck - “The Grub Hut” will be there from 10 a.m. to 6 pm each day of the tournament. The menu includes: Burgers, Fries, Hot Dogs, Sandwiches, Poutine and more … all champions eat this stuff!

Current Membership with Pickleball Canada is required for this tournament.
All credit card payments must be paid through pickleballtournaments.com and can be accessed at registration using PayPal.
Registration fee is $30 plus $15 per event entered.
*Players must be paid and have a registered and paid partner to be confirmed.

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY:We will make every effort to play all scheduled matches/games.
CANCELLATION DUE TO COVID-19: There also remains an ongoing risk of cancellation due to Covid-19. Consideration will be given to timing of cancellation and any expenses paid out at that time before a decision can be made about refunds.
Events will be played in accordance with the IFP rules and regulations in effect at the time of the tournament. IFP approved equipment only. Please refer to the IFP web site for details: http://ipickleball.org/rules/IFP_Paddle_Material_Specifications
Skill level brackets 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0+ will be played
Double Elimination (5 teams +)
Winners bracket – 2 out of 3 to 11, win by 2.
Losers bracket – 1 to 15, win by 2
Bronze medal matches – 2 out of 3 to 11, win by 2.
Gold medal matches – 2 out of 3 to 11, win by 2. If the losers bracket wins 2 out of 3 to 11, then another match will be played 1 to 15, win by 2 tiebreaker game will be played to determine the winner.
*If there are 3-4 teams in a bracket, they will play a double round robin, 1 to 15, win by 2
*If there are 2 teams or less in a bracket they will be combined with another bracket
All teams play each other. The winner is determined based on the number of matches won. If two or more teams are tied:
- 1st tie-breaker: head-to-head matches won.
- 2nd tie-breaker: point differential of all games played.
- 3rd tie-breaker: head-to-head point differential.
- 4th tie-breaker: point differential against next-highest team. (e.g., If the teams are tied for second, use point differentials against the first-place team.)
