Southern Oaks Golf and Tennis Center clubhouse has a snack bar, coffee, and refreshments.  The Oak Bar and Grill will be open Friday - Sunday from 11am - 5pm.

This tournament will be all round-robin format with shootout to the medal-match following.  Please review the format using the format tab on the homepage. 

VERY IMPORTANT - PLAYER RATINGS:

This tournament does NOT necessarily use UTPR ratings for registration, but rather the skill level players put in their PickleballTournaments.com profile.  If you have a different UTPR rating for mixed and gender doubles, please be sure to indicate your LOWEST rating in your PickleballTournaments.com player skill profile. Remember you can always play UP in skill.

** We ask that all players respect the integrity of the game and of each event by entering at their most accurate skill level.  

You may only sign up for one event per day.

REGISTRATION IS ONLINE ONLY - THERE WILL NOT BE ANY PAPER FORMS.

Tournament Director may choose to limit or combine brackets based upon registered player numbers by skill by age.

May 26, 2022 - Final date to withdraw and receive a refund (less $25 processing fee)

No Refunds requests will be accepted after May 26, 2022

All refunds will be processed after Jun 19, 2022(completion of tournament)

All refunds will be processed prior to Jul 20, 2022

Inclement Weather Policy

 * No refunds or credits if the tournament is impacted by weather

 * This is an indoor tournament.   

Directions

Format

This tournament will be a round-robin format with top 4 teams going on to gold, silver, and bronze shootout (games to 15, 11, or 21, ALL win by 1 unless it's a medal match then by 2).

Winning teams that will progress to the medal shootouts are determined by:

1.  Round-robin win/loss record

2.  If two teams tied, head-to-head with those teams involved

3.  If three or more teams tied, point differential will be the determinate

If an event has 3 Teams

Teams will play a double round robin with games 1 to 15 win by 1 to create seeding.

Shootout will be Seed 2 and 3 playing for bronze with the loser taking bronze and the winner moving on to play Seed 1 for gold/silver. 

If an event has 4 to 9 Teams

Top 4 teams to playoffs.

1 vs 4 - winner plays winner of other match for gold - loser plays the other loser for bronze win by 1.

2 vs 3 - winner plays winner of the other match for gold - the loser plays the other loser for bronze. 

If an event has 10 or more teams,

The event will be divided into two pools with the top two teams from each pool going to the shootout.

The top team of Pool 1 will play the second team of  Pool 2

and the top team of Pool 2 will play the second team of Pool 1

The winning teams of the top pool players will play each other for gold/silver

Losing teams of pool players will play each other for bronze

Default Medal Match Format

Bronze medal match (1 to 15, win by 2)

Gold medal match (2 out of 3 games to 11, win by 2)

All events are Skill/Age except for Seniors.

Brackets may be combined or split as needed.
