Tournament Description
Proceeds will help the Columbus, Ga Pickleball Assoc., Inc bring dedicated public Pickleball courts to Columbus. $45 for 1 Event. Additional event $10 per event. Days may fill before all brackets fill. Completed teams with partners, and teams that are paid have priority on available slots. Teams without partners or teams not paid are subject to be moved to the waitlist as brackets fill.

Welcome players, families and friends! Join us in the heart of Columbus, Ga where you will play in air conditioned comfort and be steps away from your hotel, restaurants, bars, boutiques, shops, and entertainment AND from the longest urban whitewater rafting course in the world! -Make a weekend of it!
The Columbus Georgia Convention and Trade Center is located in the Historic Columbus Iron Works. Painstakingly restored to its Civil War splendor, the Iron Works is a unique setting for a pickleball tournament! Situated on the banks of the Chattahoochee River, the Trade Center is a local landmark of the downtown area and is located conveniently to first-class sleeping accommodations, restaurants and entertainment facilities.

Cancellation Policy -- Player cancellation / withdrawal prior to July 1, 2022 will result in a full refund less a $5.00 administrative fee. All "waitlisted" players will be provided with an appropriate refund less $5.00 administrative fee.
There will be no refunds or credits due to uncontrollable events.
Food
The Players lounge will serve craft local beer and hard seltzers. Look for drink tickets in your goodie bag! -otherwise cash bar. Onsite Trade Center concessions will be open also having food/drinks for sale.
Bananas, granola/protein bars and water will be provided free of charge for registered players.
Other food options: Houlihan's across the street. Several other sitdown/fastfood/bar options within a 10 minute walk.

Other Registration Info
Partner Replacement Policy:
Any registered player losing a partner must replace that partner with an already registered player. The replacement must be in the same skill/age group that you are scheduled to play. Keep in mind as you search for a replacement that players may play down in age and up in skill. Replacements need to be known and communicated to the Tournament Director by 6 p.m. the day before you are scheduled to play. Any request for replacements coming in after 6 p.m. the day before you are scheduled to play will be reviewed by the Tournament Director for approval. Replacements can be found on the players needing partners list, at the bottom of the main welcome page!
Cancellation Policy

Format
When you arrive, please go to the player check-in desk and sign in for the day. You must check in every day that you play.
If the tournament is running ahead of schedule, players may be called and asked to check in early. Players may be called to play as early as 30 minutes prior to their scheduled start time. Once a match is called, players will have 10 minutes to begin play.
Bracket format will be round robin, 1 to 15 win by 2. Large brackets may be split into 2 pools with a playoff for winners.
Round robin winners will be determined first by the number of matches won, then head to head, then highest point differential.
* The Tournament Director reserves the right to change the format of play based on participation.
