Junior Girls Singles: Fri 11/18/22 5:00pm
(This is not a sanctioned event)

The Junior Girls Singles division will be played as Round Robin draws with players broken up by AGE and ABILITY. If not enough girls sign up for their own bracket, we will combine with the boys to make sure everyone gets to play.

Junior Boys Singles: Fri 11/18/22 5:00pm

(This is not a sanctioned event)

This event is open to all junior players age 7-18. We will break the players into pools of play based on age AND ability. If there are not enough girls for their own division, they will combine with the boys for co-ed singles. ALL players should make sure to let me know their play ability with an email to laurie@nationaljpo.com so I know best how to place you in pool competition.

CO-ED Doubles: Sat 11/19/22 4:00pm

The Junior Co-Ed Doubles division will be played as Round Robins with multiple pools of players broken out by AGE and Ability. Please email Laurie at laurie@nationaljpo.com to let me know your junior's playing experience. We are happy to find partners for your junior if they need someone to play with.

Vulcan FAMILY SOCIAL: Sat 11/19/22 6:00pm

The Vulcan Family Social is a great family evening for juniors to play with any family member for 90 minutes of casual fun. Cost for this event is included in the registration fee if juniors are playing other events. If ONLY playing this event - cost is $30. Do NOT play online if you are only playing the Family Social - I will reach out to you for payment. Go ahead and registration online so I can communicate with you. Thanks!

Welcome to the Jr PPA Takeya Showcase in Newport! We love hosting the juniors at each PPA event - and are excited to offer singles, doubles and the Vulcan Family Social. We especially like our first time competitors and create pools of play that put the kids against other juniors of their own age and ability. Singles will be same gender, or co-ed if needed, and doubles is co-ed.
The Vulcan Family Social is a social event where juniors partner with any related family member for round robin, casual fun! If you are ONLY interested in the Family Social, do NOT pay online. Cost for playing in just that event is $30.
The $65 fee covers all 3 events for your junior: Singles, Doubles and Family Social.

Cancellation Policy

If players entered cannot play any of the events they entered, we will refund. If players did participate in at least 1 event, we will not offer refunds.

Juniors will participate in round robin events that are broken out by both age and ability to create compatible levels of play for each junior. We are happy to find doubles partners for your junior if they would like to play and need a partner.
