Tournament Description

We invite you to join us for the Summer Sizzler 2022 Pickleball Tournament hosted by the Albert Lea Area Pickleball Club (ALAPC). The tournament will offer men's and women's singles(3.0, 3.5, 4.0+), Men's(3.0, 3.5, 4.0, & 4.5+) and Women's Doubles(2.5, 3.0, 3.5, & 4.0+), as well as Mixed doubles(3.0, 3.5, 4.0+). All events will be open age or 60+. The tournament directors reserve the right to combine levels/age brackets depending on enrollments. The tournament registration fee is $30. Each event (mixed doubles, men's doubles, women's doubles, and singles) is $10 per person.

Food

Snacks and water will be provided to all tournament players and volunteers. Food will be present on Saturday and Sunday for purchase. 

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made prior to the registration deadline will receive a full refund, minus any applicable fees. Cancellations made after the registration deadline will not receive a refund.  

There will be no refunds for events cancelled due to inclement weather or any other unforeseen event.

Format

Tournament format will consist of either pool play or round robin with top teams advancing to bracket play. Events may be combined or format changed at the discretion of the tournament directors.
