*** PLEASE REMEMBER to sign up for either the OPEN group OR the Main group for each day you wish to play, not both events on the same day. *** This will be a Round-Robin tournament, with Open play ($ payouts) and Age/Ranked events for Singles, Mens/Womens doubles, and mixed doubles. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

There is a $25 fee for cancellation prior to October 1, 2022.  As of October 1, 2022 there will be no refunds.

The event is scheduled for Friday October 14th through Sunday October 16th, with a rain date of Monday October 17th.  Due to weather, we may adjust start times and format to get as many events played.

From I-95, take Route 32 West. Take the first exit on to Broken Land Parkway and stay right.  At the second light, take a right onto Cradlerock Way.  The facility is located next to the shopping center on the left.  Parking is available in front and behind the shopping center.  There will not be any parking in the spots directly in front of the facility.  Please do not park in the apartment complexes nearby.

Format

  ROUND ROBIN FORMAT

• There will be two age groups 19+ and 50+ for Mens/Womens groups and 19+, 35+, 50+, and 60+ for Mixed Doubles.  Players can play down in an age group and up in skill level.

• Pools will consist of 6 teams.  Each group will have 2 pools (Pool A and Pool B).  If the waitlist for a group gets to six teams an additional pool may be added if space is available.

• Play each team in your pool, 1 game to 11 points, win by 2.

• Top 2 teams from each pool go to playoffs. Top teams determined by games won then total points, then Head to Head.  First place team of Pool A will play second place team from Pool B.  First place team of Pool B will play second place team from Pool A.

• Tournament Director has the right to make changes to format, adjust age brackets, or other items if needed.
• Medals awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams.
  • Initial round(s) of playoffs will be one game to 15, win by 2. 
  • Bronze medal matches will be one game to 15, win by 2. 
  • Gold/Silver medal matches will be best 2 of 3, to 11, win by 2.

For the OPEN Divisons, there will be prize money, in additon to medals. 

For the OPEN Divison only, the total event fee ($25 per player) will be used to create the prize pool. Prizes will be as follows; 1st place team - 50% of prize pool, 2nd place team - 30% of prize pool, 3rd place team 20% of prize pool. Open Division suggested skill level is 4.5 or higher.

General Rules:

• 2022 USA Pickleball Rules will apply.
• Team Age bracket will be determined by the age of the youngest partner. Age as of 12/31/2021.
• Team Skill level will be determined by the highest skill level of player on the team.

All team members must check in at least 30 minutes prior to their brackets start time. Please refer to Event Schedule for your teams brackets start time. 

About a week prior to the tournament date, staggered start time information by bracket will be available on the www.pickleballtournaments.com website.

This is an outdoor event, weather may be factor.  No refunds due to weather.  Monday is available as a rain date.
