Round Robin Tournament - Men's, Women's and Mixed Doubles - Skill levels 3.0 to 5.0 - Age divisions 19+, 35+, 50+, 55+, 60+, 65+ and 70+ - Come Enjoy Beautiful Couer d'Alene Idaho! Round Robin Tournament
Skill levels:  3.0 to 5.0
Age Divisions:  19+, 35+, 50+, 55+, 60+, 65+, 70+

Players age 8 - 18 can play into the 19+ bracket

Players may play one gender doubles event for the tournament
Players may play one mixed doubles event for the tournament

Team's spot in the bracket is only finalized once BOTH players have paid registration and event fees

Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION DEADLINE:  6/13/2023

If you withdraw before the CANCELLATION DEADLINE above, you will be issued a refund (with a $25 processing fee deducted). Refunds will be issued at the conclusion of the tournament.
 

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY

This is an outdoor tournament.  If weather is a factor, we will do all we can to play matches.  There are no refunds, credits or make up days, if the tournament is impacted by weather.  No indoor backup plan for this tournament.

Format

Round Robin Tournament - NO Double Elimination Brackets - No Pool Play - No Play Off
True Round Robin Event

Fewer than 4 teams/players will be moved into a combined bracket. 
Games:  2/3 to 11 win by 2 for brackets 4 to 6 teams
Games:  1 to 15 win by 2 for brackets 7 to 9 teams (brackets must be capped at 9 teams)

Round Robin

All players or teams play each other.  The winner is determined based on the number of matches won. If two or more teams are tied:

• 1st tie-breaker: head-to-head matches won.
• 2nd tie-breaker: point differential of all games played. (e.g., Team A won Match 1 11-8, 11-4, so they would have a point differential of +10. Team A then wins the second match 11-9, 2-11, 11-6. For this round, they would have a point differential of -2. This would give them a total for the day of +8.) 12.C.3.c. 
• 3rd tie-breaker: head-to-head point differential.
• 4th tie-breaker: point differential against next-highest team. (e.g., If the teams are tied for second, use point differentials against the first-place team.)
   

Brackets can be expanded past with a waitlist past the 6 team advertised maximum. 

This would allow people who wanted to participate in the tournament to do so in the bracket they qualified, not needing to pick a higher skill level or lower age division to move off the waitlist. 

Brackets with 4 to 6 teams will continue playing the advertised best 2 out of 3 game format, while brackets larger will play a 1 to 15 format. Both formats win by 2. 

Balancing competition in a true round robin with the health of the players. 

Great play during the day with energy to enjoy the Coeur d' Alene area in the evening...wake up and repeat the next day.
